From ‘gunshot ’ to Sensual Dance Community Leader.

There is no easy or gentle way to share my story.
When I was 2 years old, I was shot by accident in my left eye.
As a result, my left eye is not in focus and I lost a 100% of my vision on that eye. If you took a walk with me you would need to stand on the right side so that I could actually see you. 🤷♀️
I never felt that something is “wrong” with me.
And I’m grateful for my parents who taught me to love myself as I am.
Unfortunately my eye was an “amazing” and “super interesting” topic for the other kids. They found it funny and “not normal”. Abusive words and “special” treatment were a big part of my childhood.
And despite all my strength and all the love from my parents, their words stuck with me and the question “What’s wrong with me?” kept popping up in my head.
I felt like that was my life now, to be the weird one. With no chance of ever feeling “normal”. And not to mention finding a boyfriend who could love me for who I am.
